Through this tournament, ShockWave did arguably, the impossible:
He managed to make a comeback from a 2-0 loss in the semi finals to win 3-2
He also is now the only player in history to win a 1v2 game on stream, vs 2 experts.

Congratulations to ShockWave, great fighter and player.

With that being said, MysticaL would like to express his disappointment of Czarix's decision to cheat during the finals and to share accounts with a clanmate after losing the first 3 games. Talking trash is fine, talking big is also fine, as long as you can put your money where your mouth is. But it's not okay to walk around GR thinking you are the best, just to crumble to anxiety and fear during the finals and try to cheat your way to the "undisputed best active player" title.

This game thrives on competition - healthy competition. Without competition, this game cannot survive. I hope that this event managed somehow to revive those sentiments of intense competition, adrenaline, and most importantly: sportsmanship.

I hope to see you all again next year, with another edition of this event, to decide the undisputed, best active player, as of January 2023.
